GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience, education or training being responsible for planning, operating, and administering the operation of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS11: Applicant must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated.
This experience must include activities such as: Experience providing technical assistance and guidance to supervisors, leadership, and various staff members in the operation, maintenance, and capabilities of various Human Resource Information Systems (HRISs). Experience providing training to familiarize Human Resources Office (HRO) staff, HRO remotes, and supervisors with the HRIS. Experience providing advice on the use of data for compiling personnel and statistical reports and preparing personnel action documents.
Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed.
