About this role

You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Developing and providing training to staff members regarding proper application of HR laws and regulations for recruitment and placement actions, building vacancy announcements, determining specialized experience, evaluating candidates for qualifications and eligibilities, issuing selection certificates, recommending special hiring authorities, and coding various personnel actions.

Providing guidance and training on pay setting for General Schedule and Wage Grade employees; Conducting quality assurance reviews to identify HR performance gaps and recommending appropriate training solutions to supervisors. Assessing trends and errors within an HR function and recommending training development strategies to close identified gaps. AND Planning and conducting HR studies to analyze issues and recommend improvements to policies and procedures.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Qualification claims will be subject to verification. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
