About this role

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE qualifications for the grade(s) at which you are requesting consideration. Applicants must meet qualifications and time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this vacancy announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-11 You must possess at least 1 year of specialized experience at the GS-09 level to qualify. Specialized Experience includes: Independently coding personnel actions using the OPM Guide to Processing Personnel Actions (GPPA) Evaluating and reviewing Position Descriptions (PDs) Managing an agency's HR onboarding process for new hires Assisting new hires and employees with agency background investigations and PIV cards Serving as a payroll liaison and agency's timekeeper to resolve pay and timecard errors Utilizing HR databases to pull and create HR reports for internal tracking and/or agency leadership; OR Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.

or equivalent doctoral degree, or a Ph.D., LL.M., or equivalent doctoral degree; OR A combination of qualifying education and experience. If you have some qualifying education and some qualifying experience, but don't fully meet either requirement on its own, you may be able to combine them. Only graduate education in excess of two years (36 semester hours or equivalent) can be used in this calculation. Experience must be reflected in your resume, and transcripts are required.

Divide your qualifying graduate semester hours beyond the first 36 by 18. That gives you your education percentage. Divide your months of qualifying experience by 12. That gives you your experience percentage. Add the two together. If the total is 100% or more, you qualify. Experience may include paid or unpaid work, including internships, volunteer service, student leadership, military service, apprenticeships, or other relevant activities.

Resumes must clearly describe duties, dates, and hours worked per week.
