About this role
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, 0203 Series. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-6, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience include knowledge of, and skill in applying, fundamental and military human resources and management methods, principles and practices of military personnel associated with the Air Force Reserve; and standardized analytical and evaluative methods and techniques sufficient to advise on and/or resolve moderately complex non-controversial, well-precedent factual, procedural; make informed judgements on problems and issues.
Skill in the use and application of PDS data, ACCESS, EXCEL, ORACLE HR and other analytical and technical software packages. Knowledge of automated systems, personal computers, and relational database technology. Ability to analyze data/products to determine adequacy of data to support programs within the USAFR and Air National Guard structures. OR EDUCATION: Graduate education that is directly related to the work of this position.

OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Less than the full amount of experience as described and less than the full amount of education described.

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-6 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-7 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
