About this role

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 09/24/2026. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 09/24/2026. GS-05: You qualify at the GS-05 level if you possess three (3) years of general experience, one (1) year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-04 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties: Using computer programs to process or produce required materials; Referring inquiries about specific issues or actions to the appropriate personnel; Reviewing forms and files for missing data, completeness, and accuracy. OR You may substitute successful completion of four (4) years of education above high school for the experience required at the GS-5 level.

This education must have been obtained from an accredited college or university. One year of full-time undergraduate study is defined as 30 semester or 45 quarter hours. Appropriate combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience also may be used to meet the total qualification requirements for the GS-5 grade level. GS-06: In addition to the requirements at the lower grade level(s), you qualify at the GS-06 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties: Reviewing documents for accuracy and compliance; Maintaining files and records in computer databases or automated systems; Researching and resolving routine customer service inquiries; Developing relationships with internal and or external customers and business partners. GS-07: You qualify at the GS-07 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-06 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties: Providing information and guidance related to Human Resources (HR) or administrative policies and procedures; Entering data into databases or electronic systems to track personnel related tasks; Maintaining files or personnel records and resolving discrepancies; Researching and applying HR rules, regulations, and policies to complete assignments; Reviewing and maintaining HR information.
