HR Officer (w/m/x) / Orient Express Sailing Yachts
About this role
At Orient Express Sailing Yachts, the HR Officer supports the HR Business Partner in the day-to-day management of human resources and helps implement the company’s HR processes. Serving as a key point of contact for employees and managers, he or she is involved in every stage of an employee’s career—from recruitment to onboarding—while overseeing HR administrative tasks. In a rapidly growing international environment, this position offers a cross-functional perspective on human resources and actively contributes to the development of the HR function within Orient Express Sailing Yachts.
Key Responsibilities Personnel Administration Prepare and track employment contracts, amendments, and administrative documents; Ensure that employee files and HR databases are kept up to date; Assist with the administrative tracking of new hires, transfers, and departures; Track medical checkups; Manage meal vouchers and other employee benefits; Prepare and submit the necessary payroll data in collaboration with relevant service providers and contacts; Respond to employees’ day-to-day administrative requests.
Recruitment Help coordinate recruitment efforts for the headquarters and operations teams; Track applications and schedule interviews; Coordinate communication between candidates and managers; Help draft and post job openings; Contribute to improving the candidate experience. Payroll Management Collect and verify variable payroll components (bonuses, absences, overtime, transportation, etc.). Ensure that payroll data is submitted to the accounting firm on a monthly basis in accordance with the schedule.
Verify preliminary pay stubs and coordinate corrections with the accounting firm. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and personnel administration. Onboarding & Employee Experience Organize the onboarding process for new employees; Coordinate the various stages of onboarding with the relevant teams; Prepare the documents and tools needed for new hires upon arrival; Participate in initiatives aimed at strengthening employee engagement and experience.
HR Support Support the HR Business Partner (HRBP) in implementing HR projects; Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes; Help produce HR reports and metrics; Monitor HR best practices as needed. Strong knowledge of human resources administration Knowledge of recruitment processes Basic understanding of payroll and time management Proficiency with office software Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Discretion and respect for confidentiality Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, ability to work independently, and team spirit Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
