About this role

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Selective Factor: You must hold a DEU certificate. (Note: Certification must be active, passed within the last 3 years, and not expired.) AND Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Planning, managing, and advising management on the effectiveness of the recruitment and staffing activities for an agency; AND - Experience with recruitment, selection, appointment actions, merit promotions, and hiring authorities for an agency; AND - Serving as a member on an auditing team reviewing Human Capital programs; AND - Presenting briefings to agency officials.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Assisting with the planning, managing, and advising to management on the effectiveness of the recruitment and staffing activities; AND - Experience with recruitment, selection, appointment actions, merit promotions, and hiring authorities for an agency; AND - Serving as a member on an auditing team reviewing Human Capital programs; AND - Assisting with the presentation briefings to agency officials.

Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
