Job Overview Jensen Hughes is seeking a consultant to help healthcare organizations meet and maintain Life Safety, fire safety, physical environment, and emergency management requirements under CMS and applicable accrediting organization standards. Candidates based in the western United States are preferred; we will also consider candidates in other U.S. regions for remote work. Responsibilities Lead on-site physical environment assessments and multiday surveys of healthcare facilities.
Document findings, develop tailored plans of correction, and work with clients on solutions that meet applicable NFPA, CMS, accrediting organization, and authority having jurisdiction requirements. Assess emergency management programs; conduct hazard vulnerability analyses; develop policies and procedures; and design training and simulation exercises for healthcare organizations. Translate regulatory requirements into practical strategies suited to each client’s operations.
