Head of Fundraising Salary range: £58,265 per annum Location: London Hours: 35 per week Contract: Permanent We are Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking. We want to create a nation where walking is the natural choice for everyday, local journeys; free from congested roads and pollution, reducing the risk of preventable illnesses and social isolation. We want to achieve a better walking environment and to inspire people of all generations to walk and wheel more.

Living Streets has been around for almost a century, but our campaigns and delivery programmes tackle some of the biggest issues our society faces today. More walking improves mental and physical health, community cohesion, local economies and the environment. Our people and our mission are EPIC, as our values state. Come join our growing team to make a big impact to UK streets. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as our new Head of Fundraising.

In this strategic role you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure income from diverse sources. You will lead the small but growing fundraising function, drive income growth, and build strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders to support Living Streets' mission and strategic priorities. What you'll do Develop and deliver an ambitious, multi-year fundraising strategy across major donors, trusts & foundations, corporate partnerships, individual giving and events Own high-value donor relationships and lead on proposals and pitches that secure significant funding Act as a senior ambassador for Living Streets, building relationships with donors, funders, trustees and partners Sit on the senior leadership team, shaping organisational strategy and providing fundraising reporting to the Senior Management Team and Board.

What you'll bring A track record of developing fundraising strategy in the third sector, with income generation success across at least two of: major donors, mid-level donors, individual giving, corporates Experience managing a team to hit department and organisational goals Sharp, persuasive writing and communication skills, with the ability to distil complex issues clearly A genuine understanding of funder care and how to build long-term relationships with grant-giving bodies CRM experience is a plus, as is knowledge of the transport, environment or health agenda Why Living Streets Join us and help make streets better places to walk.
