We're looking for an experienced Head of Credit Management to lead our Country Credit Management organisation across multiple European markets. Reporting directly to our Chief Credit Officer, you'll lead a team of Country Credit Managers, drive portfolio performance, and ensure our credit strategy is successfully executed across every market. This is a leadership role with significant influence on Bondora's commercial success.
You'll combine strong business acumen, credit expertise, and people leadership to help our markets grow responsibly while delivering sustainable financial results. This role requires traveling to Estonia or Latvia once per month at least during first 6 months. What you'll do As Head of Credit Management, you'll act as the link between global credit strategy and local execution. You'll work closely with Country Credit Managers, Credit Strategy, Data Science, Product, and Finance to ensure every market performs at its full potential.
Your responsibilities will include: Lead and develop Country Credit Managers across multiple European markets. Drive portfolio performance by balancing growth, profitability, and credit risk. Own the relationship between portfolio performance and commercial outcomes. Run regular business reviews with each market and ensure clear accountability for results. Identify risks and opportunities early, ensuring timely actions and decisions.
