------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join us as Head of Anti-Financial Crime Compliance (AFCC) – France, based in Paris, to lead a pivotal evolution of our AFC function. You will secure the quality of our high-risk customer decisions while building more scalable KYC/KYB processes and establishing the team as a trusted second-line partner to Product. You will work closely with Florence, who leads the broader AFC Compliance function, and manage a team of AFC specialists covering AML KYB/C and Sanctions.

Your work will directly shape how Qonto translates evolving French and European AML/CFT requirements into safe, efficient and customer-focused products and processes. AS HEAD OF AFCC – FRANCE AT QONTO, YOU WILL - Own high-risk customer governance: Ensure sound, timely and well-documented decisions across Enhanced Due Diligence, high-risk customer approvals and periodic reviews - Strengthen our KYC/KYB framework: Translate evolving French and European AML/CFT requirements into clear policies, guidelines, questionnaires, controls and operational processes - Advise Product on AFC risk: Assess new features and customer journeys, provide clear second-line recommendations and help teams design workable, compliant solutions - Build more scalable ways of working: Move the team progressively from production-heavy activities toward process ownership, continuous improvement and controlled automation - Lead and grow the team: Set priorities, raise the bar on regulatory judgment and develop specialists with different levels of experience WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT - A high-impact scope: Your decisions will influence customer onboarding, product design and Qonto’s wider AFC risk framework - A genuine build-and-transform challenge: You will protect business continuity today while designing a more scalable operating model for tomorrow - Close Product exposure: You will work directly with Product, Tech, Operations and Compliance stakeholders to turn regulation into practical solutions - A European environment: You will help create a consolidated KYC/KYB view across Qonto while partnering with local AML Officers and respecting local accountability - Meaningful ownership: This is a hands-on leadership role where technical expertise, sound judgment and the ability to make progress through ambiguity all matter ABOUT YOUR FUTURE MANAGER You will report to Florence, who leads the broader AFC Compliance function.
