About this role

About Flowmingo AI Flowmingo is a Y Combinator-backed startup (plus VinaCapital & top global investors) on a mission to democratize hiring. We believe the current hiring model is broken: recruiters only have time to interview 5% of applicants, leaving 95% of talent—the "hidden gems"—undiscovered. We are fixing this with an AI-native, high-volume interviewing platform. Our model is unique: we offer our tool for free to recruiters to capture the massive, uncontested markets of Southeast Asia, LATAM, and Africa.

This allows us to process massive volumes of candidates that traditional, expensive platforms cannot touch. Growth Product Intern/Fresher Shape the Future of AI Collaboration at a YC-Backed AI Hiring Startup About the Role As a Growth Product Intern/Fresher, you’ll help shape the core of Flowmingo — our product experience. You’ll collaborate with our Product, Design, and Engineering teams to improve usability, define features, and analyze feedback that informs our roadmap.

This is a hands-on role for people who want to understand how world-class products are built — from user discovery to launch. What You’ll Do (Daily, Real Work) User Research: Interview users, analyze feedback, and translate insights into opportunities. Feature Development: Help plan and prioritize new product features. Testing & QA: Participate in testing product releases and ensuring smooth user experiences. Data Analysis: Support analytics efforts to measure adoption and engagement.

Who This Is For This role is ideal if you: Want real ownership, not “support work” Enjoy experimenting, building systems, and learning fast Are curious about how growth actually works in early-stage startups Passionate about product design, UX, or building tools people love. Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering and design. Analytical thinker who loves solving user problems logically.

Clear communicator who enjoys translating complexity into simplicity. Nice-to-haves: Familiar with Figma, Notion, or product analytics tools. Prior project experience (school, personal, or internship) related to design or product. You do need curiosity, initiative, and comfort with ambiguity. Compensation & Benefits Competitive Remuneration: Monthly compensation tailored to your experience level. The YC Playbook: Learn how Silicon Valley startups build and scale products.
