Group Product Development Manager
About this role
We are looking for a Group Product Development Manager in Liège, Belgium, who will be responsible of leading a multi-disciplinary team to get the new product fully validated, certified and released for the market introduction and ensuring a good maintenance after release. You will report to the Group Development Director What you will do : Lead a cross functional team with End-to-End accountability Create a high-performing team with SMART objectives setting, feedback sessions, coaching and career planning.
Be successful through others. (Leader of others) Allocate resources to the different NPD projects/maintenance activities and ensure long term competence management of the team Contribute to the long-term technology, product and competency roadmap of Group Product Development. Define and drive improvements to the process where needed. Enable and drive the team to develop innovative solutions, Intellectual Property and ensure project execution in line with product requirements (specifications, cost, quality) Secure all project deliverables according to the NPD/maintenance process and report/defend milestones in the PAC Align with factory engineering on cross segment maintenance needs and ensure timely implementation Good alignment with all stakehoulders: Research building blocks, Purchasing/Suppliers, Laboratory, Production and Supply chain Identify, evaluate and mitigate technical, industrialization, supply chain and project risks throughout the development lifecycle.

Skills Requested Master degree in Engineering Master Degree (mechanical, electromechanical, …) or related field. 5 - 10 years of relevant experience Experience in people management Project Management knowledge PLM knowledge Autonomous, Rigorous, Creative, Communicant, Decision maker, Team spirit Solution driven and customer oriented Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks) for mechanical integration and design.
