As an intern at GuidePoint Security, you will work closely with industry-leading subject matter experts to provide first-class cyber security services. Interns will complete in-house training programs, while working on projects to enhance their security knowledge and skills. Interns will gain experience through: Hands-On Technical Development Real-World Security Response Collaborative Project Work Team and Position Shadowing Partner-led Vendor Training and Certifications Are you a good fit for the role? Qualified candidates will: Be physically located within the United States during the entire duration of the internship Be available for full-time hire no later than September 2027 Be able to attend the mandatory in-person onboarding hosted in Tampa, FL (all expenses paid) Have a basic understanding of information technology, networking, operating systems and security - resume and application must clearly reflect this knowledge in order to be considered Have a genuine passion for information security Be motivated and eager to learn new skills Demonstrate a willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools Have demonstrated efforts toward entering cybersecurity, which may include: Obtaining certifications Attending trainings Pursuing a formal education Participating in industry organizations Contributing to personal or industry projects This position is not available for candidates living in the following states: Alaska, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.

Internship Details and Expectations : This is a part-time, remote paid internship ($20hr) that is offered as part of a GPSU cohort running from January 11 - April 2, 2027 . Interns are expected to: Work a majority of hours between 11am-4pm EST Monday through Friday, ranging from 25-29hrs/wk Attend the mandatory in-person onboarding in Tampa, FL from January 11 - January 14, 2027 (all expenses paid) Have a personal computing device and access to high-speed internet during working hours While the internship does allow flexible hours, interns will often be required to attend trainings and shadowing opportunities between the hours of 11am - 4pm EST, Monday - Friday.
