Golf Pro Shop Manager

A qualified candidate must possess: Knowledge of management procedures and general business practices related to the management of a pro shop/retail facility. Incumbent must possess a practical knowledge commercial, retail and a good knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to operations including accounting, merchandising and patron control.

Basic knowledge of the rules and etiquette of the game of golf and golf tournament operations. Must be experienced in providing exceptional customer service to all eligible patrons. Must be skilled in the current techniques of operating a financial establishment including some experience with point-of-sale cash register equipment, basic computer knowledge and basic accounting and budgeting functions. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
