GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing General Supply Specialist work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a practical knowledge of a wide range of well- established and commonly applied supply management and financial management principals, concepts and methodologies in order to analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies between site system and Enterprise Resource Planning System by conducting causative research, utilizing supply management systems and automated data processing techniques and performing inventory accuracy policy and quality control procedures.
Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Investigate inventory problems as they occur, recommend resolutions and summit written report to present data to chain of command; 2) Assist Inventory Operations center with notice of findings and recommendations remediation as part of the Corrective action plan; and 3) Experience with internal and external inventory audit support across all inventory segments Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
