As a General Ledger Senior Accountant supporting efforts for our b rick-and- m ortar schools , you will support the following areas: Support all general ledger tasks including monthly close and journal entries for multiple legal entities Perform monthly reconciliations for multiple legal entities of sub ledgers/calculated schedules against general ledger and assess for reasonableness of ending balances Lead revenue and deferred revenue reconciliations and analysis Perform variance analyses for financial statements and explain fluctuations from month to month, year over year, and against plan Ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger Identify possible efficiencies in existing processes and propose solutions Support various Accounting projects Oversee the reconcilia
