GENERAL ENGINEER
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional GENERAL ENGINEER performing duties such as: 1) Advanced knowledge and experience in the theory and methods of aircraft and aircraft systems testing; 2) Professional competence in the flight test and evaluation engineering discipline, with the processes, and products sufficient to provide technical direction to their assigned workforce; 3) Must possess initiative, originality, and sound engineering judgment in order to perform the duties successfully; 4) Ability to present ideas clearly to other engineers and test pilots, and to other personnel, including those at higher levels outside of NAWC; 5) Skill in forecasting previously unforeseen requirements, interrelationships and military effects of systems.
