Fund Finance Senior Analyst - Public Markets
About this role
We’re looking for a Fund Finance Senior Analyst to join our Asset Management Fund Control Public Markets team. In this hands-on oversight role, you’ll support fund finance, expense management and management company activities across a broad range of fund structures. You’ll work with financial data, internal stakeholders and third-party service providers, helping to deliver accurate reporting, effective controls and continuous improvements across the fund finance lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and proactive fund professional who enjoys solving problems, building collaborative relationships and contributing to the development of a growing oversight function. What you’ll be doing: Supporting the oversight and day-to-day operation of the fund finance, expense management and reporting lifecycle Reviewing fund budgets, expense accruals, capped expense arrangements, invoice payments and expense allocations Acting as a key point of contact for invoice processing queries and fund expense matters Overseeing third-party service providers, reviewing their outputs and following up on issues or exceptions Analysing fund expense trends, budget variances, capped expense positions and payment issues Identifying opportunities to improve processes, procedures, controls and reporting efficiency Collaborating with financial reporting, compliance, legal, senior management and service provider teams Maintaining accurate, timely and well-documented outputs while escalating issues appropriately Who we’re looking for: At least three years’ relevant experience within the funds industry, such as fund administration, fund accounting, fund finance, expense management, investment operations or a management company environment Practical experience of fund expenses, budgets, invoice processing, accruals, allocations, capped funds, ongoing charges or performance fees Experience working with third-party or delegated service providers Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills, with the ability to identify variances and resolve exceptions Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging internal and external stakeholders An organised, detail-focused and proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD, UK, Irish or Luxembourg fund structures would be advantageous A relevant qualification or experience of process improvement, automation, reporting tools, systems enhancements or Kneip Dataglide would be beneficial Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
