Full Stack Developer

About this role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our technology team. This role is suited to a software engineer with extensive development experience, including Angular development and backend development using .NET Core/C#. You will contribute to the design and delivery of software solutions, support technical decision-making, mentor colleagues and promote engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain web applications using Angular and TypeScript. Build and enhance backend services and APIs using .NET Core and C#. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and Engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Contribute to the development of scalable, secure and maintainable software applications. Support solution design, technical architecture and development standards.

Write clean, tested and reusable code following engineering standards. Develop unit tests and support automated testing initiatives. Participate in peer code reviews and support junior and mid-level developers through knowledge sharing. Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Investigate and resolve technical issues across the application stack. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement.

Essential Skills & Experience Professional software development experience, including significant experience developing enterprise applications. Experience developing applications using Angular (Angular 12+) and TypeScript. Experience building enterprise-scale front-end applications. Backend development experience using .NET Core / C#. Experience designing and consuming REST APIs. Understanding of software architecture, design patterns and development best practices.

Experience working with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL. Experience using source control systems such as Git. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar. Experience working within Agile delivery environments. Experience writing unit and integration tests. Ability to work independently and contribute to technical delivery activities. Analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.
