Purpose of the position The Associate Tutor is an independent training professional engaged on an assignment basis to deliver high-quality instructor-led training courses on behalf of BSI across relevant standards and schemes, including but not limited to ISO 13485, ISO 7101, and other designated management systems. The role is responsible for facilitating engaging and effective learning experiences, maintaining the integrity and quality of course delivery, and ensuring compliance with BSI 's training methodologies, accreditation requirements, and client expectations.
Associate Tutors represent BSI professionally while contributing their subject matter expertise to support the development of customer competence and organizational capability. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Associate Tutor Leadership Deliver instructor-led (ILT) and virtual instructor-led (VILT) training courses on assigned standards and schemes (e.g. ISO 13485, ISO 7101, IHC 1, IHC 2 and others) in accordance with BSI methodologies, accreditation requirements, and course specifications.
Prepare thoroughly for each training assignment by reviewing course materials, delivery plans, learner information, and any client-specific requirements. Facilitate engaging, interactive, and inclusive learning environments that encourage participant involvement and knowledge transfer. Adapt training delivery to meet the needs, experience levels, and learning styles of diverse audiences while maintaining course integrity.
Conduct examinations, practical activities, workshops, and assessments in accordance with applicable accreditation and examination body requirements. Ensure the consistent and accurate use of BSI -approved training materials, tools, platforms, and learning technologies. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, impartiality, ethics, and confidentiality when representing BSI . Comply with all BSI policies, procedures, quality requirements, safeguarding principles, and health, safety, and information security requirements.
