Founding Product Manager

About this role

ABOUT THE ROLE This is a founding product role at a seed-stage B2B SaaS company building software and AI-powered back-office tools for trades and home services businesses in Germany. You will own product direction end-to-end, working directly with engineering in a small, fast-moving team where your decisions have immediate, visible impact. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the full product lifecycle, from understanding user problems to shipping solutions.

- Translate company goals into clear product bets, priorities, and tradeoffs. - Scope, design, and ship features in close collaboration with engineering. - Make confident product decisions under uncertainty and course-correct quickly. - Build a deep understanding of users, their workflows, and real-world constraints. - Bring clarity to the team on what is being built, why, and what done looks like. - Help shape how product work scales as the company grows.

- Operate in a high-velocity, low-ceremony environment with fast feedback loops and few meetings. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Proven end-to-end product ownership experience in fast-paced, early-stage environments. - Strong technical understanding with the ability to reason about systems and engineering constraints. - Experience applying AI-first product patterns and using AI tools in product development. - Background building products for crafts, trades, or home services SMBs is a strong plus.

- Good product taste with a clear opinion on what makes a product great, including UX and UI details. - Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and iterating quickly. - High agency: you take ownership, push things forward, and do not wait for direction. - Fluent German (spoken and written) is required for the product interface and partner communications. - Fluent English is required for internal communication.

- Side projects or personal builds are a strong plus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Salary: 80,000 to 100,000 EUR annually. - Visa sponsorship: Not available. LOCATION On-site, five days a week in Berlin-Mitte, Berlin, Germany.
