ABOUT THE ROLE This is a founding-level engineering role at a fast-moving B2B SaaS startup building an AI-native intelligence layer for strategic procurement. You will work across the full stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services and LLM agent pipelines, with direct ownership over features used by enterprise customers. The role matters because enterprise demand is outpacing current build capacity, and your output will immediately expand what the product can do.
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Prototype and ship full-stack features end to end, from UX through backend logic to prompt design. - Design and integrate LLM agent workflows that make sophisticated AI pipelines feel invisible and intuitive to end users. - Translate direct customer feedback and real-world usage signals into iterated product experiences. - Reason about system architecture and make pragmatic decisions across frontend, backend, and LLM integration layers.
- Use AI coding tools fluently to accelerate development cycles while maintaining production-grade quality. - Work in person with the team in Berlin, contributing to a high-trust, high-velocity environment. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Strong fullstack TypeScript skills, with the ability to own features across UI, APIs, and data layers. - Demonstrated ability to work with LLMs: prompting, tuning, and integrating them into real products, shown through shipped work, side projects, or hackathons.
- Solid product instincts and creative drive for what makes an AI-powered user experience actually work. - Python experience is a plus alongside TypeScript. - Clear evidence of exceptional ability or strong trajectory: shipped products, rapid career progression, notable open-source contributions, or hackathon wins. - High agency and entrepreneurial drive with a track record of shipping in a startup or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, prototyping quickly, and iterating on customer feedback without a fixed playbook. - Berlin-based and willing to work hybrid or in person with the team. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: 90,000 to 140,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. LOCATION Hybrid, based in Berlin, Germany. In-person collaboration with the team is expected.
