To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Forward Deployed Databricks Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for building impactful data and AI solutions directly with customers. With focus on open source and cloud technologies we enable our customers to successfully introduce and implement new data-driven solutions and to optimise already existing processes and products while simultaneously adapting to cloud technologies Tasks You are responsible for delivering customised end-to-end data platform and analytics solutions on customer projects, with a strong focus on Databricks-based implementations across the full project lifecycle.

Work closely with customers to understand technical and business challenges, identify solution opportunities and translate requirements into scalable platform architectures. Design, build and optimise data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, data models and engineering workflows on Databricks. Implement and deploy robust solutions for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, governance and analytics in production environments.

Collaborate directly with customer stakeholders, acting as a bridge between business needs, platform strategy and technical delivery . Support customers hands-on in adopting best practices around Data Engineering, DataOps, CI/CD, cloud architecture and platform enablement . Work in agile environments and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methods, accelerators and reusable assets. Stay up to date with the latest developments in Databricks, cloud ecosystems and modern data architectures , and work together with market-leading technology partners.
