Financial Reporting Oversight Manager
About this role
We’re looking for a Financial Reporting Oversight Manager to join our Dublin office and help strengthen financial governance across the L&G Asset Management Public Market fund ranges. This leadership role will focus on maintaining the integrity, accuracy and robustness of fund financial statements while promoting high standards of control, review and continuous improvement. Working closely with external administrators, auditors and internal stakeholders, you’ll provide trusted technical accounting expertise and create an environment in which your team can perform at its best.
The role reports to the Head of Fund Finance, Public Markets What you’ll be doing: Leading the financial reporting function across the L&G Asset Management Public Market fund ranges Reviewing and constructively challenging fund financial statements produced by third-party administrators Ensuring financial reporting is complete, accurate and aligned with relevant accounting standards, regulatory frameworks and internal policies Providing technical accounting oversight across FRS 102, IFRS, UK GAAP, UK SORP and Lux GAAP Partnering with auditors and internal stakeholders to support audits and strengthen fund financial statement governance Driving continuous improvement across oversight frameworks, processes and review methodologies Overseeing third-party service provider performance and supporting the effective resolution of financial reporting issues Managing, supporting and developing Financial Reporting Supervisors and Analysts while promoting consistently high standards Who we’re looking for: A qualified accountant with strong technical accounting expertise, including IFRS A detailed understanding of fund financial statement controls, governance and audit processes Experience working within Public Markets and in fund financial control, audit or technical accounting roles Experience reviewing and constructively challenging outputs produced by third-party administrators Knowledge of net asset value calculations and share class distribution calculations Detailed knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, including UCITS and AIFMD Regulations Experience building effective relationships with fund administrators, fund boards and committees, auditors and trustees or depositaries An inclusive and collaborative leadership style, with sound judgement and experience supporting or developing colleagues Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
