Financial Operations and Systems Analyst

About this role

For the GS-13 : You must have have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (or comparable level of experience from outside the Federal service) performing ALL the following duties: Developing financial business requirements, accounting guidance, or standard operating procedures to support financial systems or internal controls; Analyzing financial data to reconcile discrepancies or resolve financial system errors for accurate financial reporting; Developing cost estimates, reviewing contractor cost proposals or providing financial analysis supporting acquisition activities; Monitoring budget execution to support funds management, resource utilization, or compliance with financial requirements.

For the GS-14: You must have have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (or comparable level of experience from outside the Federal service) performing ALL the following duties: Conducting research and problem analysis in solving problems in the execution and development of financial and accounting operations, systems, and policies; Providing guidance to senior officials on financial management and accounting management operations, policies, and systems; Analyzing and reviewing financial and accounting data, operations and programs to ensure financial integrity and quality assurance; Developing recommendations and implementing improvements to financial or accounting management policies, procedures, and regulations.

Developing cost estimates, reviewing contractor cost proposals or providing financial analysis supporting acquisition activities; You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
