FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST TITLE 32 INDEFINITE
About this role
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is a Title 32 INDEFINITE excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Military Grades: E1 to E6 Selectee(s) must be within the military grade(s) listed in this job announcement prior to the effective date of placement into the technician position.
Applicant(s) (Enlisted) who are over grade must clearly state, in their resumes, their intentions to willingly take a reduction in grade. Compatible Military Assignments: 6F0X1 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; skill in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material; skill in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; ability to prepare reports and presentation formats.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: (GS-07): Must have 12 months on-the-job financial training and fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles of financial management and concepts. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: (GS-09): Must have 12 months of specialized experience at the next lower level (GS-7). Experience in analytical reasoning in the identification, analysis, and evaluation of financial issues and developing alternative solutions.
Requires knowledge and skill in the application of related laws, regulations, precedents, methods and techniques of budgeting. Competent in self-management, resilience, teamwork, attention to details, creative thinking, integrity, honesty, and positive customer service skills. Practical knowledge of the operations, procedures, and policies of Financial Administration and Management. NOTE: This is an upward mobility position.
The full performance level (FPL) is a GS-09. If not already qualified at the FPL, the selected candidate may be eligible for upward mobility to GS-09 after successful completion of an Individual Development Plan (IDP). Coordination with Human Resource Development (HRD) by Supervisor, at the time of hire, is mandatory to begin training plan and meeting all requirements set forth by HRD before the appointment is upgraded.
