FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting and applying budgetary policies, precedents, and regulations within a functional program area. Formulating multi-year or fluctuating program budget estimates and identifying alternative funding strategies.

Conducting in-depth analytical reasoning to identify, conceptualize, and resolve complex budgetary discrepancies and operational challenges. Utilizing enterprise or department-wide administrative and financial management systems (i.e. NERP, DTS) to manage systems to track fiscal transactions, manage resource allocations, extract data, and ensure data integrity across operational units. Planning, executing, and reporting on comprehensive financial studies and operational reviews to assess system effectiveness, prepare formal fiscal reports, and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal financial management standards.
