FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

About this role

Military Grades: E-1 through E-9 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have the following skills: Skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; Skill in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material; Skill in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; Ability to prepare reports and presentation formats SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one year of experience equivalent to the next lower level in applying pay and tax laws, regulations, directives, pay accounts and preparing necessary documentation to pay or collect entitlements and adjust effected taxes.

Examining records, original orders, and all substantiating documentation to determine whether pay entitlements and/or tax refunds exist and if credit and/or payment of pay and allowances are in accordance with prescribed administrative regulations and procedures. **The technician must complete the higher financial management certification within 24 months of appointment to the position** This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d.

Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.
