FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
About this role
GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to analyze financial reports to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies; coordinate with various offices within a financial organization (e.g., disbursing, travel, financial improvement and audit readiness, accounting) to resolve funding issues or discrepancies; develop subject matter expert (SME) level financial management training based on trends and issues identified; and brief key decision makers on the status of an accounting and financial program.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to analyze financial management system errors to recommend alternate processing methods to achieve systems objectives; analyze financial reports to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies; coordinate with various offices within a financial organization (e.g., disbursing, travel, financial improvement and audit readiness, accounting) to resolve funding issues or discrepancies; develop subject matter expert (SME) level financial management training based on trends and issues identified; and brief key decision makers on the status of an accounting and financial program.
