SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-14: To be eligible for this position, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: Experience performing financial management analyses and studies to evaluate financial performance, resource utilization, internal controls, organizational effectiveness, and long-range financial requirements.
Experience analyzing financial and operational information from enterprise systems to identify trends, assess financial risks, evaluate performance, and develop recommendations supporting management decisions. Experience interpreting and applying Federal financial management requirements, including laws, regulations, financial management standards, Treasury directives, and Office of Management and Budget guidance, to assess compliance and recommend implementation approaches.
Experience planning and coordinating financial management projects and studies, including defining scope, establishing milestones, selecting analytical methods, and coordinating work across organizational components. Experience evaluating financial management processes and controls to identify deficiencies, assessing organizational impacts, and recommending improvements that strengthen financial stewardship and operational effectiveness.
