Finance Analyst - 12-month FTC
About this role
We’re looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Group Finance team and support the delivery of accurate expense, allocation and financial reporting. This is an opportunity to build your experience within a collaborative finance environment, gaining exposure to forecasting, VAT reporting, financial controls and continuous improvement. You’ll provide insightful analysis, maintain accurate financial information and work closely with finance teams across the business.

What you’ll be doing: Producing cost centre allocation reporting and supporting quarterly forecasting and annual planning cycles Preparing reconciliations, VAT returns, reporting files and statutory returns Reviewing accounting transactions and supporting the month-end close process Delivering management information and analytical reporting relating to expenses, ledgers and allocations Collaborating with divisional finance teams on expense ledger, fixed asset and allocation processes Maintaining robust financial controls in line with Group standards, statutory requirements and the risk and control framework Supporting internal and external audit activity by providing accurate information when required Identifying and progressing process improvements, system upgrades and automation opportunities Who we’re looking for: Studying towards, or part-qualified in, ACCA or CIMA A degree or comparable experience gained within an analytical finance role Experience preparing reconciliations, financial or tax analysis and financial reporting Experience using core accounting systems to complete ledger postings and reconciliations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail Confidence interpreting numerical data and business metrics relating to allocated expenses Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with Power BI and PowerPoint experience Effective communication, relationship-building and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
