About this role
Requirements Continued... Under applicable law, the employment of an individual serving a probationary or trial period automatically terminates when that period ends unless the agency affirmatively certifies, in writing, that the individual's employment should continue and that their appointment should be finalized. In the absence of agency action to affirmatively certify continued employment beyond the probationary or trial period, such appointments are terminated.
Upon completion of your probationary period your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest. In order to be rated as qualified for this position, the HR Office must be able to determine that you meet the education and/or specialized experience requirement - this information must be clearly supported in the resume. To qualify at the GS-07, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-06 level in federal service.
Specialized experience at this level is defined as experience that included: maintaining and coordinating schedules for maintenance and/or repair of a major facility; Monitoring and adjusting work orders; and/or collecting and recording data for central files; and/or responding to oral and written requests regarding ; and editing /creating documents for review; experience using an automated maintenance management software program for a power generating plant or equivalent industrial, commercial or military facility.
Experience may also include skill in using an automated time keeping system and performing bank/credit card program coordination. You must include hours worked per week in your resume. Education cannot be used to substitute experience at this grade. GS-06: you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-05 level in federal service. Specialized experience at this level is defined as experience performing maintenance management work such as assisting with creating work orders and scheduling maintenance and/or constructions projects; assisting with monitoring and adjusting work orders; experience using an automated maintenance management software program.
