FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing annual and long-term comprehensive programs of facility maintenance, structural repairs, space optimization, and space utilization layouts (such as developing 3-to-5-year Facility Master Plans).
Experience acting as the primary point of contact and technical liaison to regional public works commands (e.g., NAVFAC or installation Public Works), coordinating with professional engineers, architects, and contractors, and managing contract performance. Experience performing technical reviews of work requests, conducting physical building inspections, preparing project cost estimates, and establishing multi-year facilities operating budget requirements.
Experience managing installation or command-level Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection (ATFP) programs, managing physical security risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with DoD/DoN force protection directives. Experience overseeing supply programs, property accountability, and the execution of Government Purchase Card (GPC) programs. Experience overseeing preventive and corrective equipment maintenance frameworks, such as the Navy's Maintenance and Material Management (3M) program, to achieve high equipment readiness levels.
