Extracurricular Internship: Model-Based System Simulation (f/m/div.)

About this role

Your contribution to something big: Shape the future: You contribute to advancing sustainable, energy-efficient heating technologies. You play an active role in shaping next-generation control architectures for hybrid and residential heating appliances to drive decarbonization. Create something new: You develop, simulate, and optimize systems and model core appliance functions using MATLAB/Simulink. Assume responsibility: You execute model-in-the-loop (MIL) simulations, evaluate system behavior against functional requirements, optimize control parameters, document simulation results thoroughly, and present your findings to the engineering team.

What distinguishes you: Degree in a relevant field like Mechanical, Physics, Electrical Engineering (or similar); Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink; Good understanding of thermodynamics, control engineering and model-based design is an asset. As well as at least one programming language; Given our international field of work, you have excellent oral and written expression skills in English.
