Experienced Consultant in Energy Transition (m/f/d)

About this role

We’re looking for experienced consultants to join our growing Energy & Climate team in Munich, Hamburg, or Düsseldorf and help ambitious organizations transform towards a more sustainable future. What you’ll do You'll work at the heart of the energy transition, helping ambitious clients turn strategic ambition into practical, executable plans. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the project and may include: Developing energy transition strategies and implementation roadmaps Supporting the execution of energy strategies across markets and countries Building business cases and conducting economic and environmental assessments for emerging technologies Carrying out market and competitive analyses along the energy value chain Supporting clients in the adoption of technologies such as hydrogen, battery storage, and renewable energy solutions, as well as strengthening their resilience Contributing to go-to-market initiatives, client pitches, and proposals Taking ownership of new topics and opportunities as they emerge What you’ll bring We're looking for someone with a strong technical and commercial foundation who thrives in a collaborative, high-autonomy environment.

On top of relevant experience from management consulting or the energy industry, you: Hold a relevant master's degree or equivalent, ideally in industrial engineering, engineering, or another technical discipline, combined with strong business acumen Combine ambition and a results-oriented mindset with a collaborative and approachable working style Thrive in a network-based culture with a high degree of autonomy and shared responsibility Bring commercial understanding, ideally including experience in business development or selling consulting services Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Can structure complex challenges and translate them into actionable solutions It’s also a prerequisite that you’re fluent in German at C2 level and in English, both written and spoken.
