Ethics & Integrity Specialist (investigator)
About this role
This role is part of the Ethics & Integrity team and reports to the Ethics & Integrity Manager. Together with the team, you will help shape and further develop how we work with ethics and integrity across the global Inter IKEA organisation. In this role, you will conduct inquiries and investigations into concerns raised through our Raise a Concern channels, including matters such as fraud, corruption, bribery, conflicts of interest, harassment, and discrimination.
You will also lead training and awareness initiatives on topics such as concern handling and anti-corruption, while supporting preventive efforts that strengthen our IKEA culture and help foster a safe and ethical workplace. On a daily basis you will: Support driving the global Ethics & Integrity agenda within Inter IKEA Group. Operate the primary process of the Inter IKEA Group global whistleblowing scheme, the so called Raise a Concern platform.
Lead and support high level, complex and multi-faceted investigations for the Group Ethics Committee. Support with inquiries and investigations across other businesses. Secure a consistent and ethical approach to inquiries and investigations across all businesses. Provide training and learning sessions and maintain working routines in order to ensure professional and legally compliant concern handling practices. Contribute to a continuous development of concern handling practices for Inter IKEA Group, e.g.
in the field of data-forensics, the appliance of AI, or updating procedures and working methods. Focus on both preventive and reactive potential for the company. Monitor data, trends and developments in the field of ‘raise a concern’.. Support with reporting on Ethics & Integrity topics. Coordinate, facilitate and lead awareness and communication activities.. To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable: Extensive investigation skills/experience, including, planning, fact finding, document analysis, non-confrontational interviews and report writing, with different topics (e.g. HR-related topics like harassment and discrimination as well as fraud and corruption.) Well-developed communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, coaching and active listening Experience in working with investigations in a global environment, within different cultures.
