EQD Business Analyst

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: December 31, 2026 Work setup: Hybrid (3 days per week in office) Clearance required: BPSS eligibility required Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an EQD Business Analyst to shape and enable the technical development and run-time operation of products and services within a global Cash Equities platform. The role will focus on front-to-back business analysis, requirements definition, end-to-end process and data-flow mapping, and supporting the build and migration of the strategic platform while working with Product Owners and global development teams.
What you will do: Lead front-to-back analysis of trading workflows and systems, including order capture, routing, execution, allocations, confirmations, and post-trade feeds. Translate EMEA market structure and regulatory constraints into clear functional and non-functional requirements. Define requirements covering latency, resiliency, auditability, and controls. Partner with Product Owners to deconstruct business outcomes into deliverable features.
Ensure coherent solution definition across product areas and regions. Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle. Map end-to-end business processes and data flows. Define clear acceptance criteria and maintain traceability from business outcomes through delivery and testing. Lead complex investigations and drive clarity in ambiguous environments. Support the build and migration of solutions to the strategic platform.
Ensure service resilience and recovery objectives are met for delivered solutions. Support operational readiness, monitoring, and overall solution supportability. Ensure new products and services align with mandatory and regulatory requirements. Embed appropriate controls and evidence compliance-by-design. Collaborate across Trading, Regulatory Compliance, Operations, and Technology. Coordinate effectively across global regions, product areas, development teams, and time zones.
Engage engineers in technical walkthroughs, data analysis, and troubleshooting. Consider front-office architecture and design trade-offs relating to performance, resiliency, observability, and controls. Bring in-depth Front-to-Back Cash Equities knowledge, specifically STP trading, order management, market access, regulatory reporting, and middle/back office integration feeds. Possess excellent analytical skills, structured problem-solving capabilities, and strong task management skills.
