About this role

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Three years of experience in the planning, coordination, and execution of special events and/or formal ceremonies. Experience in the field of music entertainment, sport entertainment, or common forms of theatre. Must possess human relations skills in dealing with the needs of visitors, entertainers and in responding to the requests of the audience. Requires three years' experience demonstrating knowledge of administrative principles and practices.

Intermediate ability to manage, monitor, and track a budget. Skill to organize and track multiple high visibility projects simultaneously. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Intermediate to advanced skill in document and presentation preparation, in proper format and according to naval correspondence rules of grammar and punctuation. Must be able to handle unusual problems during planning and negotiating phases.

Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include weekday and weekend special events.
