As Nigeria’s largest merchant acquirer, we power most of the country’s point-of-sale (POS) transactions. Through our subsidiaries, Moniepoint Inc. processes over $250 billion in annual digital payment transaction value.

About The Role We are looking for an Engineering Relations Partner to join the Corporate Affairs and R&D teams. You will work closely with our engineering teams to tell the story of what we’re building in a language that other expert engineers understand. This is a technical content execution role requiring strong, foundational engineering skills. You will translate what our engineers build and learn into high-quality narratives: the kind that earns genuine respect in engineering communities, gets accepted at top-tier conferences, and attracts exceptional engineers from around the world.

The right person for this role is a skilled engineer who has found their voice as a writer and communicator; someone who can walk into a room of engineers as a peer, ask the right questions, and come out with a story worth telling. Who You Are To succeed in this role, you must have: Strong engineering capabilities : A solid background in computer science or software engineering. You have written and shipped code professionally, understand modern system architectures, and can deeply engage with complex technical concepts.

Technical depth : Experience working within fintech, infrastructure, distributed systems, or high-scale engineering environments where you can comfortably read codebases, interpret technical documentation, and grasp deep architecture choices. Exceptional writing skills : Clarity, precision, and the ability to articulate intricate technical trade-offs and ideas accessibly without oversimplifying or watering them down. Proactive narrative instinct : The ability to independently dive into engineering projects, spot the most compelling technical breakthroughs or lessons, and build content around them without needing explicit instruction.
