What You'll Do Reporting to the Director of Compute Architecture, the Engineering Manager will lead hiring, people management, and operational execution across multiple hardware-adjacent domains in Warsaw, Poland. This position spans three primary technical functions: METAL (owns server hardware infrastructure and fleet management systems), METALDEV (develops software and automation platforms for hardware lifecycle and observability), and METALNET (owns high-bandwidth GPU interconnect platforms including NVLink and NVSwitch).

About the role As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for building, staffing, and developing a multi-disciplinary engineering organization in Warsaw to support CoreWeave’s large-scale hardware cloud. In this highly cross-functional role, you will manage day-to-day sprint planning, workload prioritization, and project execution while establishing an engineering culture centered on ownership, accountability, and operational excellence.

You will partner closely with recruiting to attract top technical talent, manage performance and career growth through regular coaching, and collaborate directly with North American engineering leaders to align local execution with global technical roadmaps. Who You Are 5+ years of experience in hardware, infrastructure, systems, networking, or platform engineering roles within data centre, cloud, or high-performance computing (HPC) environments.

2+ years of direct people management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and developing engineers or team leads. Demonstrated technical depth in server hardware, firmware/BMC technologies, Linux systems, hardware automation, GPU infrastructure, or HPC networking. Proven track record of scaling engineering teams, partnering with recruiting functions, and managing production infrastructure at scale.

Typical target cash compensation ranges from 321,000 PLN to 493,000 PLN gross per annum , with an equity total compensation ceiling depending on candidate seniority and experience level.

The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits programme (all subject to eligibility).
