Engineering Manager

About this role

We have real traction and proven scale, and we're now setting up how engineering works for our next wave of European growth. You would lead one of the teams doing it, and shape the practices the others follow. ABOUT THE ROLE You would lead one of our product engineering teams: what it ships, how it runs, and how the people in it grow. Product and engineering together are ~25 people, so there is nowhere to hide and nothing you can't reach.

It's a hands-on role. One week you're in a design review, the next - in a few Claude-enabled contributions, the next - in performance conversations, and most weeks - all of that combined. You should love zooming in and out, from feedback on an API spec to a quarter's priorities. Your team trusts your technical judgement because you still use it. Beyond your team, you would shape how engineering works at Insify together with the other Engineering Managers, a Staff Engineer and the VP Engineering: architecture, product discovery, how engineers grow.
