About the Role Monks is looking for an embedded mid-weight Project Manager (Category and Lifecycle Content) to join our client's EU Cross-channel Marketing (XCM EU) team of a major global client, managing the flow of category and lifecycle content through the team's systems. Around 20 briefs a month enter the intake, much of it through automated workflows, and you will need to know exactly what is happening to each one: what is in, where it sits, who owns it, and when it lands.
Roughly a quarter of the role is category campaign work, where you will also manage the dedicated category creative team, a copywriter and three designers within the wider creative team; the remainder supports the always-on lifecycle workstream, which is delivered through the wider creative team and established production partners, following a process that is already in place. You will work across a wide range of stakeholders, from campaign managers and creative leads to production partners, and you will be the person who turns a busy, partly automated pipeline into something everyone can see and trust.
The role is fully embedded in the client's XCM EU team and will be hybrid, with three days a week in the London office. This is a one-year fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities: Manage the category creative team day-to-day, a copywriter and three designers within the wider creative team: brief them, plan their workload and keep their work moving to deadline. Manage category and lifecycle briefs from intake through to delivery, keeping timings, owners and status current in the team's tools.
Monitor the automated intake and workflows, spotting where requests stall, duplicate or fall outside the process, and resolving them. Maintain clear timing plans and deliverable lists, and flag risks to timeline or scope early. Manage lifecycle work through the wider creative team and established production partners within the existing process, and coordinate reviews and approvals with campaign managers, creative leads and partners.
