You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. GS-10 One year of specialized experience which includes:1) Installing, modifying, and/or repairing electronic systems; 2) Providing technical support to various electronic maintenance and repair activities; AND 3) Assisting in the development of standard operating procedures, repair processes, and testing procedures for technical work on complex electronic systems such as C5ISR Weapons Systems.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). GS-11 One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Providing guidance to other technicians on testing, trouble-shooting, and diagnostic techniques, 2) Utilizing computer software such as Logistic Modernization Project (LMP) to prepare documents and input data, AND 3) Developing standard operating procedures for technical work on electronics and/or industrial systems such as C5ISR Weapons Systems.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
