About this role

This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: This position requires experience in systems analysis, signal processing, and software development related to EW system design, effectiveness analysis, and integration. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5/10 grade level or NP-02 pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Utilizing knowledge of modern digital signal processing techniques including detection of signals in noise, adaptive filtering, and wavelets; 2) Designing and developing advanced algorithms for the extraction of emitter identification and/or sorting data from EW signals; 3) Programming in languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, or Python; 4) Utilizing knowledge of RF system design, analysis, and test; and 5) Utilizing experience in systems analysis, signal processing, and software development related to Electronic Warfare system design, effectiveness analysis, and integration.
