Electrical QA/QC Engineer
About this role
The Electrical QA/QC Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation and delivery of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes across projects, ensuring all installations, inspections, and documentation meet project specifications, company standards, and statutory requirements. The role is site-focused and plays a key part in monitoring quality, supporting inspections and testing, and ensuring accurate and complete documentation to support successful project delivery and handover.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out site inspections to ensure installations meet design specifications and quality standards Support project teams in implementing QA/QC procedures on site Assist in monitoring installation works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications Maintain QA documentation and ensure all records are accurately completed and stored Use digital QA platforms to record inspections and track progress Ensure all documentation aligns with project requirements and “As-Built” records Support the review and compilation of mechanical and electrical test packs Assist in verifying test results, inspection records, and certification Ensure all QA documentation is complete and ready for project handover Liaise with subcontractors to ensure QA requirements are understood and followed Support site teams with QA processes, procedures, and documentation Attend site meetings as required to provide QA support Audit & Compliance Conduct internal QA audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with standards and specifications Ensure alignment with relevant industry standards.
Support external audits and client inspections as required SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a QA/QC, site engineering, or construction role Experience within building services (M&E) or construction environment desirable Understanding of QA/QC processes and documentation Knowledge of relevant standards advantageous Experience using digital QA systems (e.g. Procore, Fieldview, Dalux) desirable Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication and ability to work with site teams and subcontractors Relevant technical qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Construction) desirable Having an inclusive and flexible culture helps the business continue to grow as a strong, dynamic and innovative organisation.
