As the Director, Operations Accounting, you will serve as a strategic leader within CoreWeave’s Accounting Operations organization, with end-to-end ownership of the technical, operational, and reporting activities supporting our global data center operations. You will define and scale the accounting framework that supports rapid infrastructure growth, while ensuring financial integrity, strong internal controls, and alignment with business objectives.
You will lead and develop a high-performing global team, partner closely with senior leadership across Operations, FP&A, and Technical Accounting, and play a key role in shaping the financial infrastructure that underpins CoreWeave’s expansion. This role reports to the Head of Operations Accounting and requires a balance of strategic vision, technical expertise, and operational execution — starting hands-on as a player-coach and scaling the team from there.
What You'll Do Own the function end to end: Provide strategic leadership over the technical, operational, and reporting activities supporting CoreWeave’s global data center operations — owning the accounting and month-end close for supply chain and inventory valuation, standard cost and absorption, fixed assets and capital project accounting (CIP), GRIR management, freight and logistics, and procure-to-pay (P2P). Establish the long-term vision: Define and drive a scalable operational accounting framework, including systems, workflows, and organizational design capable of sustaining hyper-growth.
Build and operate the control environment: Design and execute a robust, SOX-compliant (or equivalent) control environment across operational and technical accounting processes, driving clean audits and year-over-year reductions in findings. Lead technical & judgment-heavy accounting: Evaluate, document, and implement accounting treatment for complex transactions in partnership with Technical Accounting and Controllership.
