TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume must clearly demonstrate that you possess the following technical qualifications.
TQ 1: Demonstrated leadership of a complex national security or Intelligence Community organization across multiple mission areas. Ability to integrate analysis, collection, counterintelligence, and cyber capabilities; establish strategic priorities; exercise sound judgment on sensitive matters; and ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and Intelligence Community directives. TQ 2: Executive leadership in intelligence, counterintelligence, or national security that informs national policy and senior decision-making.
Demonstrated ability to integrate complex intelligence and technical capabilities, advise senior officials, represent organizational positions and interests across the Intelligence Community, Executive Branch, Congress, and with other stakeholders, set strategic priorities, and build critical partnerships. EXECUTIVE CORE QUALIFICATIONS (ECQs): In addition to the Technical Qualification Requirements listed above, all new entrants into the Senior Executive Service (SES) under a career appointment will be assessed for executive competency against the following five mandatory ECQs.
