Hydrosat is a space and data analytics company building a new Earth observation constellation and software platform to unlock the power of thermal infrared imagery. We deliver high-resolution thermal insights that help governments, defense agencies, and agribusinesses better manage water resources, agricultural production, national security threats, and critical infrastructure. We grow through two distinct routes to market – government programmes, and commercial data and subscription products – and our product and engineering teams build the platform that powers both.
Hydrosat is hiring a Director of International BD & Sales to bost growth, identify and develop strategic opportunities, and strengthen our position across international government markets. This is a senior, hands-on role combining channel leadership, business development, and market intelligence. You will own Hydrosat ’s international partner ecosystem, shape market-entry strategies, and identify relevant government programs before they reach formal procurement.
Working closely with the VP Global, Government Programs, you will represent Hydrosat with senior customers and partners, make recommendations on where the company should invest its resources, and coordinate early-stage opportunities into qualified captures. Responsibilities Channel Strategy and Management Audit, improve and execute Hydrosat ’s international channel strategy. Identify, recruit, negotiate with, and onboard resellers and strategic partners.
Establish reseller agreements for satellite data, IrriWatch, and other relevant Hydrosat solutions. Manage partner pipelines and hold resellers accountable against clear activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. Provide partners with the use cases, marketing materials, pricing guidance, training, and commercial support needed to generate and maximize revenue. Structure the global reseller network through partner tiers and performance reviews Grow partner-generated pipeline and revenue while addressing underperforming relationships.
International Strategy and Market Development Develop market-entry strategies for priority countries and regions. Map government landscapes, including end users, buyers, budget owners, procurement processes, funding sources, and existing capabilities. Identify and engage relevant local partners, institutional stakeholders, and decision-makers. Produce actionable country and market strategies for leadership decision-making.
