About this role
Cato Networks is the converged network and security cloud for the AI era. As AI reshapes cybersecurity, enterprises face a dual challenge: unlocking AI’s potential while defending against AI-driven attacks. Cato addresses both through a unified, cloud-native platform, providing the visibility and context to prioritize risks and stop threats in real time across users, applications, data, and AI agents. Join us as we scale: take on ambitious technological challenges and shape the next generation of enterprise security at a company trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide.
We’re looking for a visionary DevOps to join the R&D team. In this critical role, you will support the entire R&D operation, by providing automated tools and CI/CD processes. Responsibilities: Be the owner of continuous delivery and deployment processes of all of Cato's software projects, build them from the bottom up, and keep extending them. Collaborate with R&D and other departments to provide and improve self-service tools and automate whatever can be automated.
Help different departments be more productive in their day-to-day and improve overall developer experience. Lead technical projects from discovery and design through implementation and rollout. Partner with engineering teams to understand pain points, gather requirements, and improve developer workflows. Define roadmaps and break down large initiatives into actionable plans and deliverables. Contribute to our internal engineering portal and other developer-facing platforms.
Requirements: At least 5 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory). Experience in Docker & container technology. Bonus - Experience building and operating production systems on Kubernetes. Proven programming and scripting experience - e.g. Go, Groovy, Python, Bash. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a dynamic multi-task environment with context switches.
Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills. Ability to independently identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive execution. Comfortable working directly with engineers, technical leads, and engineering managers. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Preferred: Knowledge of and a passion for configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet. Experience with cloud IaaS such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and SaaS platforms in general.
